Privacy Policy

Avora ("we", "us") is a fitness app that helps you plan workouts, log training, and track progress. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello.avorafit@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account: email, username, display name, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
Profile & body metrics: optional height, weight, age, sex, goals, and experience you choose to enter.
Training data: workouts, sets, weights, reps, personal records, gyms and equipment, and app activity.
Body-scan photos: if you use the AI Body Scan, the photos you upload and the analysis produced from them.
Connected services: if you connect Strava, the activity data you authorize us to import.
Technical: basic device and usage information needed to run the app.

How we use it

To provide the app: build and adapt your plans, calculate progress and personal records, power the AI coach, analyze body scans, and show your profile to people you choose to share it with. We use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

AI features (coach chat, plan generation, body-scan analysis, weekly reports) send the relevant data — which for body scans includes your photos — to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. This data is processed to serve your request and is not used by us to train models. If you would rather not use AI features, simply don't use the coach, scanner, or AI plan generation.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to operate: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (AI features), Stripe (payments, if you subscribe), and Strava (only if you connect it). Each processes data only to provide their service.

What you share publicly

Your public profile, featured PRs, and any workouts you mark public are visible to others and may appear in share previews. You control this in your profile settings — set your profile to private or hide stats/PRs/plans at any time.

Your rights & deletion

You can view and edit your data in the app. To export or permanently delete your account and associated data, email hello.avorafit@gmail.com and we will action it promptly. Deleting your account removes your workouts, scans, and profile.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by per-user database security rules. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Avora is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Avora is an independent product currently in early access. This policy is written in good faith to describe our actual practices; it is not legal advice.
